WHAT IS AN ALLERGY?

It is the body's expression of a functional imbalance, a response to a severe or repeated assault.

WHAT ARE THE CONDIITIONS THAT ALLOW AN ALLERGY?

A weakened constitution, which means the body's ability to respond to a challenge or stress through the immune system, is challenged or inadequate.

THE CHALLENGE

Identification of an allergy as symptoms are multiple and in many disguises.

We are familiar with the following obvious symptoms:

1. Asthma
2. Running and itchy eyes
3. Dark circles under the eyes
4. Sniffling and running nose
5. Sinus problems
6. Skin rashes

Other forms that allergies appear as include:

1. Arthritis
2. Gallbladder diseases, inflammation
3. Headaches
4. Crohn's disease
5. Depression
6. Psychotic behaviour
7. A hundred more that are not thought of as allergies

Allergies do not cause every disease but can be involved in every disease. Nobody dies from a runny nose, but few other diseases kill as fast as ANAPHYLAXIS, a massive allergic reaction that kills within 15 minutes to 120 minutes after contact with an allergen such as:

• A bee sting
• A handful of peanuts
• A penicillin shot - antibiotics - vaccination

Many heart attacks are triggered when the liver has a drastic response to an allergen that causes the cut off of blood supply to the heart (palpitations) and other parts of the body to deal in an emergency manor with the allergen itself.

Allergies are of a secretive nature. They exist for years within the body without recognition. While unrecognized they are none the less at work by weakening the immune system and laying the foundation for other serious diseases.

Allergies can occur anywhere in the body even in the brain. They all have a few symptoms in common which include:

• Inflammation - heat or redness
• Pain
• Swelling

We recognize such things as; sinusitis, colitis, arthritis, bronchitis, and dermatitis. Allergies kill through their slow insidious, multiple symptom syndrome.

To the person allergies cause discomfort, to the medical profession confusion. In reality allergies have multiple causes but evade the medical profession because they look for one cause for each illness. Consequently allergies are overlooked, ignored or diagnosed as mental or emotional stress.

MY APPROACH TO ALLERGIES

1. If possible, remove the allergen such as peanuts, milk, eggs, pets, mold (including carpets) unfamiliar perfume on a husband, etc.,
2. Begin drainage. This means insuring that the organs of elimination are open and functioning at optimum levels. See article on Drainage.
